DragonsBlood, year 123 of the Age of Kaos

The race o Men is almost extinct, the ones that weren't killed are now slaves.
There are no more free Men in this world.

The dark forces are everywhere, Goblins and Orcs kill everything on their passage and in order to survive, Dwarves and Elves had to make alliances.
But not everyone was in favor of such alliances, clans were divided and now Elves and Dwarves are friends and foes, but all of them with one common enemy... Orcs and Goblins.

This is the Age of Kaos, i'm Argur DragonsBlood army officer and these are my chronicles.

Good Dragons, Bad Dragons!

Dragons Blood, year 123 of The Age of Kaos

Two days had pass since Dalito left Dragons Blood to meet with Omega.
The atmosphere was heavy and tense all around the city, Argur sat on a rock, his back against the warm wall, his battle axe on one hand and a whetstone on the other, but his thoughts far away. Where was Dalito? What news would he bring? What if he was ambushed by goblins? What if king Omega didn't respect the war laws, and just kill him? He shook his head, in a attempt to wash away such bad thoughts, he looked up and used his hand to protect his eyes against the bright sun.
Up there just beside the main gates stood mighty as a stone giant the southern tower, that was the highest of all the five towers in the city, from there you could see any enemy coming from miles away, from there would come the news if Dalito was to return. Three figures stood watch, and by the way of their arm movements they where in deep discussion, three slim, elegant and tall figures with they long bright blonde hair shining in the sun. "Oakrune, Grams and Wolfswinkle." he said in a deep but low voice.
"Are you talking to yourself old men?" Argur jumped startled and almost fell from the rock he was sitting on, he look to his side and there stood young Sean, prince of Dragons Blood and heir ti the throne. "Of course not, my prince! I was talking to my axe." Argur answer in a serious tone, almost like he was offended by the question, they looked at each other for a short while and then they burst into laugh. The prince was loved by everyone in the city, "Little Dragon" they called him, he was neither elf nor dwarf, his hair was this brown almost blonde, he was not as tall as a elf but neither was he as small as a dwarf, he almost looked like a human was it not for his pointy hears. He had the best of both races, strong as a dwarf, and fast as a elf, Argur had seen him training with his sword, he was skilled, in a few years he would be a lethal warrior.
The prince sat beside Argur and toke a long look at the battle axe, "If you keep sharping it, soon you will be able to cut a Dragons head in one blow!"
" Well that i wouldn't know my prince, i've never seen one, and i don't think i will ever."
" Don't you believe in Dragons Argur?" the prince asked almost in disbelief.
"I believe they existed once, but i've never seen one."
" Father says that, in this lands was where the elves made a pact with the good Dragons, together they brought down the evil dragons that had been terrorizing and killing everyone on this lands. After that the Dragons left to some secret mountain, where they live by themselves. And that is why this lands are called Dragoon Blood."
"Yes, that is what your father would say, but what says your mother, our Queen?"
Little Dragon looked at the dwarf with a little smile hidden in his face and answer, "Mother says that there are no good Dragons, that here in these lands, the dwarves of many ages ago fought bravely against the dragons that were killing everyone. The dwarves fought until all the dirt was red with blood and no dragon was alive. And that is why this lands are called Dragoon Blood."
There were to many stories about how Dragon Blood came to be Dragon Blood, and none of them could be proved wrong or right, Argur didn't know if he believed any of them, but one thing he was sure, he had never seen a dragon nor had anyone in this world that knew of.
"Well old men, i believe they exist! And one day I'll go and find that mountain and will comeback as the first Dragon rider, and i will prove you wrong."
"Now now, young prince don't get all mad on me! I never said i didn't believe in dragons, i said i've never seen one. And i'm sure that if someone ever will be able to find the dragons mountain, and ride one of them, that will be you."
Then they were interrupted by a shout from the southern tower, it was Oakrune, he was shouting "Someone is coming! Someone is coming! A lone rider! Someone is coming!"
Argur and the little prince ran to the main gates, and they heard Oakrune's voice again shouting, this time with a little hint of relieve,  "It's Dalito! Dalito is back, open the gates!"
